Energy awareness
Awakening the Chi Your life-force (Chi) circulating through your body is positively and negatively charged. When a person feels Chi Energy it normally flows from the right hand ( + right hands) to the left hand ( - left hands). Is your Chi strong or weak? We are going to test your ability to feel your Chi. The strongest times are early morning and late night when you can be in a quiet place. For the best results try early morning. What come first, the belief or the skill? Your faith must come first. To do anything that can not be seen, you have to believe that you can do it. Just because you believe in something, it is not necessarily going to happen. You need to combine belief with effort in order to accomplish anything. The preparation instructions below are to give you a optimum chance of experiencing your Chi. If you are not totally successful, try using all the suggestions below in the quiet of the morning when the chi flow is the strongest. Preparation:
Experiment Step One
Most likely you will feel a tingling sensation in your hands. You are awakening the Chi. This is what a external healers do before he works on a patient or something similar. Experiment Step Two
The feeling of Chi is like a feeling like a light wind, or a magnetic electrical feeling, with practice it can feel like a strong ball of energy. With time you can direct it through your meridians, circulating through out the body at your will. It can even be directed toward others to heal or throw them across a room without even touching them. Below is the experience that led me to the study of Chi Gung... "Unable to sleep I got out of bed and quietly began to pace around my dorm room. On this particular night the windows were open and even though it was chilly I could feel puffs of warm air, which puzzled me. As I reached out to close the window, I saw the source of the warm wind. There in the area outside my first floor window was Master Chi. He was practicing martial arts, twirling his arms in graceful sweeps. With every movement of his arms I could hear the crack as through lighting had struck. There was some kind of force that seemed to be produce a maverick wind. As he preformed his graceful routine, winds blew and swayed the plants and trees around him. It was impressive, exhilarating and frightening all at the same time. There was no longer any question in my mind. I had to learn Chi Gung from Young Master Chi." International Tibetan
